Disposal records vital role in the institution, company or organization, disposal of records must be made in order to achieve the purpose of the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of storage space as well as the record. Disposal of records can be done in various stages or various ways to follow from any company, institution, or organization. In the disposal of records in supporting equipment needed to destroy records. Culling the record is done in a way that is easy and inexpensive to make it more effective. Culling record must eliminate or physically damage the contents of records and information in the record.

Firm may elect to purchase equipment to dertroy record or use the service of a commersial records disposal firm. Records that contain confidential content should be carefully disposed of by a method that insures they are completely destroyed. For these records, an organization may choose to use a "Records Disposal" form showing when, where, and how records have been disposed of. However, for most records, documentationis not necessary and such control need not be used.
Disposal of records should occur in a timely fashion which can be easily determined according to retention schedules. Records may be batched or stored for a short time prior to destruction rather than having singel documents disposed of on a perpectual basis. However care should be taken to insure that records do not accumulate beyond control or present a safety or security problem for the organitation.
